Who we are

Race2Deals is operated by RACE TO DEALS LTD, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC901799. For any question about these terms, contact us at privacy@race2deals.com.

What Race2Deals is

Race2Deals lets you set up or join races with other people, track your steps or movement during a race, and unlock discount codes or reward links from participating providers when a race is completed. It is a social and fitness activity app, not a financial product, a medical device, or a guarantee of any discount, reward, or outcome.

Your account

You sign in using a supported third-party account (such as Google or Microsoft). You're responsible for keeping that account secure and for anything that happens under your Race2Deals account as a result of it being compromised. You must be old enough to lawfully use the app in your country, and you must provide accurate information.

Discount codes and reward links

When you complete a race, Race2Deals may issue you a discount code or a link to a reward from the deal's provider. We do our best to keep these accurate and working, but:

• Discount codes and reward URLs are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not control the participating providers' systems, stock, promotions, or policies.
• We are not responsible if a provider declines, rejects, expires, or fails to honour a discount code or reward link issued through the app, for any reason, including the provider ending a promotion, changing their terms, or experiencing technical issues on their end.
• Rewards are not cash, are not guaranteed to have any particular value, and cannot be exchanged for cash unless a provider's own terms say otherwise.

If a code or link doesn't work, we encourage you to let us know at privacy@race2deals.com, but we cannot guarantee a provider will still honour it.

Physical activity and your safety

Racing involves real physical activity -- typically walking, jogging, or running, often outdoors and around other people, traffic, and terrain. You choose when, where, and how to take part.

• We are not responsible for any injury or harm you experience while walking, jogging, running, or otherwise taking part in a race, including injury caused by terrain, weather, traffic, other people, or your own physical condition.
• You're responsible for judging what's safe for you, following local traffic and pedestrian laws, and stopping if something doesn't feel right. If you have a medical condition that could make physical activity risky, check with a doctor before racing.
• We are not responsible if your phone or other device is lost, damaged, or dropped while using the app, including while carrying it during a race.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Race2Deals and RACE TO DEALS LTD are not liable for:

• Any discount, code, or reward not being honoured by a third-party provider
• Any injury, harm, or health issue arising from physical activity undertaken through the app
• Loss of, or damage to, your phone or any other device
• Any financial loss arising from your use of the app, including loss connected to a reward, discount, code, or provider transaction
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of any kind

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or for fraud.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to cheat, falsify step or activity data, or manipulate race results
• Create multiple accounts to claim more rewards than a deal allows
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or abuse the app or its backend systems
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that harms other users

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to abuse the reward system.

Changes to the app and to deals

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app, including specific deals, races, or reward types, at any time. We'll try to honour rewards already earned before a deal changes or ends, but this isn't always possible if a provider withdraws or changes a promotion.

Your data

Our use of your data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
